Conditions of participation for the competition
1 - Organizer:
The organizer of the competition is Norma Group Holding GmbH.
2 - Participation:
- Any natural person over the age of 18 is eligible to participate. However, employees of the organizer and their direct relatives are excluded from participation.
- Participation in the competition is only possible from 10/26/2021 – 11/30/2021.
- Participation is free of charge and does not require the purchase of any goods or services or consent to the use of data for advertising purposes.
- To participate, simply complete the questionnaire in full. By entering your personal data at the end of the questionnaire, you agree to the terms and conditions of the competition.
- The organizer points out that the participants themselves are responsible for ensuring that they are allowed to participate in the competition and accept a possible prize in accordance with the laws and compliance regulations that apply.
3 - Execution, termination and exclusion from participation:
- Prizes: 15 x CAMPUS daypacks from Jack Wolfskin worth € 49.95 each.
- The winners will be drawn by Dec. 10, 2021, and be notified by email or phone.
- The prizes will be sent to the winners by parcel service by Feb. 28, 2022.
- The organizer reserves the right to discontinue, cancel, suspend or modify the competition in the event of unforeseen circumstances that prevent the competition from being carried out as planned.
- The claim to the prize cannot be assigned and is not transferable, unless otherwise provided for by law.
- In the event of a breach of these conditions of participation, the organizer reserves the right to exclude participants from the competition.
- Furthermore, the organizer reserves the right to exclude participants who use unauthorized aids or otherwise gain advantages through manipulation, for example through collective or multiple entries.
4 - Liability of the organizer:
The following exclusions and limitations of liability apply to the organizer’s liability for damages, irrespective of the other legal requirements for claims:
- The organizer shall be liable without limitation insofar as the cause of the damage is based on intent or gross negligence.
- Furthermore, the organizer shall be liable for breaches of essential obligations caused by slight negligence, the breach of which jeopardizes the achievement of the purpose of the contract, or for breaches of obligations, the fulfillment of which is essential for the proper implementation of the competition and on the fulfillment of which the contractual partners regularly rely. However, the scope of liability for the organizer in such a case shall be limited to the foreseeable damage typical for the contract.
- The organizer is not liable for the slightly negligent breach of obligations other than those specified above.
- The aforementioned limitations of liability shall not apply in the event of injury to life, limb and health, for a defect following the assumption of guarantees for the quality of a product and in the event of fraudulently concealed defects. Liability under the Product Liability Act remains unaffected.
- The exclusion or limitation of liability of the organizer shall also apply to the personal liability of representatives and vicarious agents of the organizer or its employees.
5 - Final provisions:
- The legal process is excluded.
- The law of the Federal Republic of Germany shall apply to the exclusion of international private law and the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods (CISG) incorporated into German law.
- Should any of these provisions be or become invalid, the validity of the remaining provisions shall not be affected.

Processing of your personal data
- We process your data within the framework of our existing business relationship and, in this case, for the purposes of conducting and evaluating the customer survey. Your participation is of course voluntary. We process your personal data [title, surname, first name, e-mail address, telephone number] for the purpose of determining the winners and subsequent contact, and after further coordination for sending the prize.
- The legal basis for sending the customer survey is Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f in conjunction with. Section 7 (3) Act against Unfair Competition. Our legitimate interest is the improvement and optimization of our services in relation to the NORMA Group web shop. By entering your personal data for the competition, you confirm that you wish to participate in a competition voluntarily. The legal basis for the conducting of the competition is therefore your consent pursuant to Art. 6 para. 1 sentence 1 lit. a GDPR in conjunction with. Art. 6 para. 1 lit. b GDPR in the event that you are determined to be the winner. You can revoke your consent at any time without affecting the lawfulness of the processing carried out until then.
- Your data will only be stored as long as it is necessary for the processing of the competition and the deletion does not conflict with any statutory retention obligations. We will delete the data of the participants or the winner if it is no longer necessary for the implementation of these purposes or you revoke your consent.
- o conduct this customer survey, we use our service provider Questback AS, based in Norway. Questback only provides a platform for conducting the customer survey and does not process your data for its own purposes. You can also find more information at https://www.questback.com/data-privacy/.
Your data subject rights
Of course, you have the right at any time to information about the data we have stored about you, to correction or deletion or restriction of processing and to data portability. In addition, you have the right to revoke your consent at any time without affecting the lawfulness of the processing carried out on the basis of the consent until the revocation. Furthermore, you have the right to lodge a complaint with a competent supervisory authority.
You have the right to object at any time, on grounds relating to your particular situation, to the processing of personal data concerning you which is carried out on the basis of Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (data processing on the basis of a balance of interests); this also applies to profiling based on this provision within the meaning of Art. 4 No. 4 GDPR.
If you object, we will no longer process your personal data unless we can demonstrate compelling legitimate grounds for the processing which override your interests, rights and freedoms, or the processing serves the purpose of asserting, exercising or defending legal claims.
